1. Qualities Survey

• –              Conducted KII’s with local, national, and international level traders of almond in 14 provinces.
• –              Conducted KII’s with local enterprisers/ buyers and sellers of almonds in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted KII’s with almond farmers in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted KII’s with Local officials are included leader farmers, CDC members, DDA members and DAIL team in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted KII’s with almond investors in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted KII’s with almonds processors in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Analyzed and reported each enterprise and sections separately for all 14 provinces.

1. Agriculture Quantities Survey:

• –              Conducted Focus Group Discussion (FG) with Agro-traders, processors, Interested Investors, Experts, Farmers and others of almonds in 14 provinces, used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted public consultation with different group related to almond.

1. Social & Environmental Assessment:

• –              Conducted completed social household survey consider all social life effected factors, like occupations, access to local market, education and health services, economic condition of people and others in all 14 provinces.
• Used OKD applications for data collection.
• –              Conducted completed environmental survey, considered, natural diseases, agriculture condition, flood durations, climate condition and so more, and used OKD application for data collection.
• –              Conducted detail resettlement survey.
• –              Prepare separate social and environmental report.

1. Topographical Survey:

• –              Conducted Field Topographical survey in all 14 provinces and used D-GPS devices.
• –              Prepared site plans, topographical plans, contour maps and proposed structure plans for all 14 provinces.

1. Hydrological Investigation:

• –              Investigated rainfall and prepared Rainfall Hyetographs and used SWAT, WEAP software’s.
• –              Determined food hydrographs for all 14 provinces.
• –              Analyzed flood frequency for all 14 provinces and use historical data.
• –              Determined environmental and irrigation flow and use MAIL & MEW historical data.
• –              Precipitation and Potential Evapotranspiration analyze for all 14 provinces.

1. Crop Demand Analyze & Irrigation Scheduling:

• –              Water demand analyze of almond for surface, drip and life irrigation systems, separately for each province.
• –              Prepared irrigation scheduling for drip, surface and left irrigation systems for each province.

1. Design and Cost Estimation of Irrigation Systems:

• –              Designed of surface irrigation systems in 6 provinces out of 14 provinces.
• –              Designed of drip irrigation systems including water pumps, solar panels, filters, main, sub-main and lateral and drippers and other related structures for 8 provinces project areas out of 14 provinces.
